Cautions of Level Switches Installation

As we know, the level switches are used for liquid level monitoring or alarming systems with Switch Signal Output. While there are some cautions when you install the level switches.

1. If there is mud at the bottom of the pond, the floats cannot touch the bud.

2. If there is no mud at the bottom of the pond, then the dead zone is about 5 - 7 cm because the floats and their fixing circles need some dimensions.

3. The material of the float and rod is Silicon Steel / p.p / ABS or other plastics. Please ensure the liquid is applicable to this material and causes no corrosion.

4. Please do not install the sensor close to the Feed Port or Outlet Port.

5. If there is a mixer or a large - power pump at the bottom of the pond, it is suggested to fix the sensor with additional circles 0.5 m above the pumps or mixer, or use a back float to avoid an unstable level.

6. Please ensure the Flange Hole Diameter is larger than the float diameter so that it can be installed.
